Hazel and Vine Genealogy is a branch of the family-run company, Hazel and Vine. Hazel and Vine is dedicated to helping people to reach their full potential by assisting them to deal with the past and present effectively. In line with this objective Hazel and Vine Genealogy focuses on learning more about the pasts of our ancestors. By discovering where we have come from along and understanding our ancestors, we can gain insight into our own behaviours and beliefs.
Hazel and Vine Genealogy is headed by one of the partners in the parent business, Maryanne Till. She is an experienced genealogist and researcher, having worked on her own family history for more than 17 years. Maryanne has also developed a One-Name study for the surname Tregeagle, which has involved tracing all instances of this name and its variants world-wide. She has also participated in being a volunteer for the Online Parish Clerk project for Cornwall. This involved transcribing parish records and assisting others with researching their family.
Maryanne has trained at a professional level through advanced studies in family history, having completed courses through Flinders University, Strathclyde University, Society of Australian Genealogists (Certificate), and Pharos Tutoring. She is currently completing her Diploma of Family History through University of Tasmania.
